Winter 2010: Somerset Art Association Annual Juried Exhibit - Award For Excellence. Ben Gilmore is a resident of the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania in Easton close to the Delaware River about 65 miles West of New York City and 58 miles North of Philadelphia. Ben is currently working on an assortment of artwork for a solo show somewhere in the local area. A time and place has yet to be selected. Working in both watercolor and acrylics Ben has an assortment of varied works ranging from landscapes and floral still-life done in a more realist type of approach to acrylic paintings in abstract and impressionism done in his own colorist style. Ben is currently showing his work in surrounding area exhibitions and local art shows for the exposure and sales.
